How can I donate/volunteer for the Warming Station?

The Dickson County Family YMCA is an Official Warming Station for Dickson County. During the winter, we can house the homeless overnight to get them out of harm's way. We provide food, shelter and safety during extreme temperature drops.   If you want to volunteer or donate supplies, food or clothing, please contact us at 615-326-7070.

Do you have guest pass access?

Yes, a non-member can visit the Dickson County Family YMCA two times as part of our Guest Pass access.  As a guest, you have full access to the facility and all group fitness classes.  You can fill out our Guest Pass online or in-person.  If you complete the online form, when you visit the Y, just let the front desk staff know that you signed up for the Guest Pass online and you're ready to "Try the Y"!  After your two free visits, you can either use the Y by paying the drop-in rate or become a member.

Do you have a drop-in rate?

Our Individual drop-in rate is $10/day.  The Family drop-in rate (at least one adult and their dependent children living in the same household) is $12/day.  You will have full access to our Wellness Center, strength training areas, cardio machines and all group fitness classes.  Please allow some extra time when you first arrive to get you signed up as a guest visitor.

Do you have personal training available?

Yes, we do.  We offer 30 minute and 60 minute sessions along with special rates for purchasing multiple-session packages.  For more information and how to sign up, please visit our website.

Do you have childcare available?

We’ve got you covered with two options for your kids.  While you’re working out, your kids are always supervised and are always having fun challenging their brains and their bodies.

  • Y-Play for ages birth to 4 years old

  • Y-Adventure for ages 4 to 12 years old

Maximum time for childcare is two hours, and childcare is always open during our group fitness classes.  For more information, please visit our website.

Is a membership at the Dickson YMCA valid for this club only, or can I visit a different YMCA facility if I’m traveling?

Your Dickson YMCA membership allows you to also visit other YMCAs across the country.  However, with COVID-19, some YMCAs may have restrictions on visitor access.  So please contact the YMCA you want to visit to determine whether any restrictions are currently in place.

Do you have a swimming pool?

We do not have a pool at the Dickson County Family YMCA at this time.  We do have plans for a pool in our Phase 3 expansion, but we are only in Phase 2 at this time.

Do you have any job openings?

We are always looking for good people for our Wellness, Front Desk or Childcare areas.  We post positions on our Facebook and Instagram pages.  However, feel free to call us at 615-326-7070, or stop by and fill out an application, or ask our staff about our current openings.

What is your cancellation policy?

Do I need to come in to the Y to cancel my membership?

You can either come into the Dickson County Family YMCA or cancel your membership online.

If I haven’t used the Dickson County Family YMCA this month, does that mean my membership is cancelled?

No, your membership will continue until you come into the YMCA in person and let us know you want to cancel your membership, or you can cancel your membership online

How are memberships billed every month?

We are a no-contract facility, meaning we charge your dues month by month. Because of this, we require that you set up a recurring billing method that will automatically draft on a set day each month.  We accept two types of recurring billing methods:  1) debit/credit cards, and 2) bank draft.

There are no exceptions to this policy. Please be prepared to set up a recurring billing method upon signup.
